Google and Global
IP Solutions have entered into a transaction agreement under which Google Acquisition
Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Google, will make a recommended voluntary
public cash offer to acquire all the issued and to be issued shares of GIPS for NOK
13.0 (USD 2.12) in cash per share, or an aggregate price of approximately NOK 421
million (USD 68.2 million) based on the currently issued and outstanding share capital
of GIPS.

eTelemetry announces
that its LENS and Locate911 solutions are compliant with a key telephony communication
solution from Avaya. LENS (Locate911
Emergency Notification System) and Locate911-N enable organizations to identify the
exact station that initiated an emergency call and where to find them so that internal
personnel can provide first response and direct emergency services. The LENS On-Site
Notifications deliver location information via a Windows-based desktop alert agent
and via email to multiple recipients. Industry-first map links within alerts provide
added insurance that responders will know where to go in an emergency.

Earlier this week, several news outlets including Wired.com reported on a new Telephony Denial-of-Service attack that's becoming more widespread. In this attack scenario, hundreds or thousands of PSTN calls are launched to the victim's phone in order to prevent financial institution notifications from arriving while the attacker drains accounts.

Corporation has added the Bria for BroadWorks softphone from CounterPath Corporation
to its iPBX Hosted Communications Service offerings. Because the iPBX Hosted Communications
Service resides on BroadSoft’s BroadWorks platform, Bria for Broadworks tightly integrates
with and enhances iPBX capabilities. The Bria softphone provides advanced call control
capabilities, auto-provisioning, and feature integration with iPBX. Service management,
call history, and contact directory information on Bria interfaces directly with the
BroadWorks platform, allowing seamless operation and increased productivity.

The Bria softphone is offered by DSCI as an add-on service to its iPBX Hosted Communications
Service.

TELES has
strengthened its five year partnership with Dubai based distributor VoiPMONSTER to

VoiceEngine Mobile is a comprehensive, packaged solution that handles all the necessary

The agreement includes platform fees, support and royalties.
