Red Hat to offer telcos open source building blocks

Moving deeper into the telecom market, Red Hat has acquired Mobicents, an open source VoIP middleware platform and open source Java Service Logic Execution Environment (JSLEE). The company also has joined the SCOPE Alliance, which is dedicated to building carrier-grade platforms.
