IPEVO announced
its FR-33.1 USB Internet Handset has been certified for use with the Avaya IP Softphone
6.0. Business professionals that use the popular Avaya Softphone system can now experience
the design and sound quality of IPEVO's best selling Internet handset. The FR-33.1
supports one-touch function keys for call transfer, call holding and conference calls,
as well as contact and call history menu navigation. Users can activate the Avaya
IP Softphone 6.0 application, as well as dial numbers and answer calls directly from
the handset.
Konftel 300IP Conference Phone Available Mid-December

Konftel is now launching the Konftel 300IP, a SIP-based conference phone with a number of innovative functions. The 300IP makes it possible to make local five-way calls and ring pre-programmed groups, as well as record and store calls on a memory card. By creating user profiles, personal contacts and settings can be saved. The phone is equipped with Konftel's patented OmniSound 2.0 sound technology, which provides crystal-clear sound with wideband.
The Konftel 300IP can be connected to either an IP PBX system or direct to a VoIP service provider. The phone is based on SIP (RFC 3261) and is compatible with most of the market's SIP platforms. In order to simplify connection, the Konftel 300IP also supports Power over Ethernet.
